MANILA WELCOMES DONAIRE WITH A VICTORY MOTORCADE: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim yesterday lauded boxing champ Nonito `The Filipino Flash’ Donaire, Jr. for once again bringing glory and pride to the country by successfully defending his title as World Boxing Association super flyweight champion. Donaire also thanked Lim and the officials and people of Manila for making him family and a part of the city. “Special people who help me out and support me give me inspiration.  They are part of my victory and of me pag andun na `ko sa ring,” he added. Lim praised Donaire for his humility amid all the successes he had been reaping, even as he expressed confidence that he will reach greater heights in the world of boxing. ((Photo by Tony Cunanan)
