The Department of Engineering and Public Works in the City Government’s arm tasked in the repair, maintenance, rehabilitation, improvement and construction of the city streets, bridges, drainage system, public schools, hospitals, health centers, markets, parks, plazas, sport centers and other structures as well as the implementation of the city ordinances and the building code for the safety of the general public.
In line with vision of Honorable Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, for better Manila, improvement and beautification projects have been implemented under the Linisin, Ikarangal ang Maynila program.
